7. Engage with Coach

I went to a SIM training session in July of 2016. I received coaching from Janice Creneti on multiple occasions. I also received coaching from Janet Atallah. The trainers and coaches really know their stuff. Janice is so knowledgeable that she schooled me in my own subject. She pointed out errors in my conceptual reasoning that were inhibiting construction of my Frame. I have always gotten both encouraging and corrective feedback from my trainers/coaches.

Collaboration has been encouraged in Botetourt County and we regularly engage in sessions with coaches. The availability of coaching feedback has enhanced our use of the Framing Routine on a regular basis across grade levels and content areas.
