Socially Wise utilizes a computer-based instructional model.

 This can be used whole-group, small-group, or individually. Our group created a lesson surrounding Joining a Group.

1. Definition of Relaxation: 
  • to be calm, still, "to be chill, "go with the flow"
  • a moment where you time yourself out for a personal reason (stress, anxiety, etc.)
  • peacefulness
  • to unwind
2. Rationales (Benefits of using the skill)
  • to cope with stressful situations
  • help to focus on school work
  • remain calm when anxiety begins
  • help sleep better
3. Situation where the skill could be used: 
  • before a test or presentation
  • when becoming angry
  • when you become frustrated with peers or adults
  • need a break from an activity
  • when anxious
