Notability

I used notability to create my graphic on plagiarism because I already had it on my iPad and was somewhat familiar with it. I have not explored possibilities within the app in terms of creativity and image design. I only use the app for taking notes, so it was fun to see more of what the app's capacity is. I would recommend notability for short and easy designs, but definitely not the app to use for big projects. This graphic is indicated for secondary levels (9th-12th).

Avoid Plagiarism

I used Canva to create this graphic, and the image in the background was on a template that I picked out. I really like the idea of having a little flow chart/graph on the graphic because it's something very visual for the students to see. If they're unsure whether or not they are going to be plagiarizing someone else's work, they can easily look at the graphic and following the arrows to determine if they need to cite something or not.

Prezi

For the plagiarism graphic badge, I decided to use Prezi to illustrate the important topics of plagiarism and copyright. This way students would be able to use interactive presentations to understand these important concepts. I liked using Prezi because it is very interactive, easy to use, and is visually stimulating.

In case the graphic did not properly upload her is the link to the presentation: http://prezi.com/_in_9if4t9bk/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy

Canva 2nd Grade

I used Canva for this graphic. I had several issues trying to use this app which made it a valuable experience because now I know that Canva is not the greatest tool to use for this type of activity.
This graphic was designed for a 2nd grade classroom.

Canva

To make this infographic I used Canva. I have used Canva before and really like it. I chose this tool because it gives you many different options for layouts, free photos, text boxes and more. The app or website is very accessible and easy to use. I can see myself using this in my classroom to create lessons as well as assign projects to students.

...

I used the page 53 app to make this graphic. I think that it is important for the children I teach (first or second graders) to understand that taking someone's ideas is wrong. They need to learn to think for themselves and come up with their own great ideas. If everyone copied the same same idea we would never grow or learn new things.

Prezi

I used Prezi to create my presentation for this badge. Ultimately, I think Prezi's look good and are interactively cool, however, they can be challenging to create. It takes me a while every time I use it because I have to go in a certain order and re-learn all the tools every time. The way it looks is nice, but it takes a little patience when using this tool. I have used it multiple times now and am still yet to master it, but always enjoy the result. The biggest tip I have with it is to use a template to make your presentation, especially if it is your first time using the tool.

Canva

I used the app Canva to create my graphic on plagiarism. My graphic explained the differences between plagiarising and copyrighting content since many people tend to get the two terms mixed up. Before creating this badge, I used copyrighting and plagiarism hand in hand since I thought they were the same thing. However, I realized that copyrighting was okay to do since it involved getting permission from the owner. I loved using the website www.creativecommons.com to find my images too. I had never heard of this website before this badge, so I was very interested in using it for my future projects. Overall, I loved using the app Canva to create a simple yet creative info graphic on this topic!

Canva

I used Canva, as I have before. I use it often because I love it so much! If they don't have a free graphic available you can always upload one of your own. This was my first time using the hyperlink feature and it worked very easily. If you aren't incredible creative (like me) there are always pre-made designs you can utilize.

I used Canva

I used Canva to create my graphic.  I found a Creative Commons image and added it into the Poster I was putting together in the app.  I customized the colors and I tried to connect my phrasing to the picture.  I also made sure to cite the image I was using.  I enjoyed using Canva because it was easy to put everything together, and I was able to play around with a lot of features.  It's definitely one of my go-to apps now.
