Paper 53

To make this graphic, I used Paper 53. I have used this app in the past for my sketch-noting badge, and I wanted to use it again as I felt it was a very effective way to present information. The app is very easy to use and allows you to get very creative, therefore it is a fun way to present and learn information!

App review and source link.

I used Canva to create my graphic on plagiarism. I thought it was a pretty cool app. I haven't used it since the beginning of the year when we created a graphic about ourselves. I am pretty unfamiliar with the app so it was a little hard for me to understand at first. once I got a hang of it I started to see the different cool features it has. I liked all of the different options for backgrounds and layouts, as well as text.  In the future, I think I could get better at creating capturing graphics for different reasons.

Canva

I used the app Canva because I really enjoy it. I like that it gives a lot of different options whether it's a presentation, poster, invitation or collage it has multiple options. I also like all of the different layouts and style options. I can see myself using this in my future classroom as a way to keep the students intrigued instead of just using PowerPoint like how most of my teachers did.

Plagiarism Graphic

For this project I used canva. I thought that it was fun to create the graphic as if it were going into my classroom. I found the image on http://weblog.saardrimer.com/index.php/automatic-on-line-plagiarism-checks-and-essay-services_182/comment-page-1/ and thought it was a good visual representation of copying another persons work. I thought it was important to use bright colors to grab the students attention. This graphic is specifically geared toward the fifth grade age level.

Canva

I used Canva to make this graphic. I like Canva for it's many different possibilities, and free content. I do not like that heavily edited images may look differently upon being saved, and the user interface can be a bit difficult on an iPad. However, overall, it was the best app for this purpose.

Graphic summary: 4th and 5th grade "Don't Plagiarize" graphic

I designed this graphic in Adobe Photoshop. I illustrated all of the elements in the graphic by using the selection and paintbrush tools.

This graphic is geared toward 4th and 5th grade students. I wanted it to be simple enough for a 4th or 5th grader to read quickly, but also visually interesting enough for them to remember the importance of not plagiarizing.

I really enjoy designing graphics in Photoshop. There aren't any templates available, but it gives me great creative freedom and encourages me to really make something look exactly how I want it to. This usually takes a bit more time and planning, but I feel like it is worth the extra time spent.

I used Canva to create my graphic.

I used the app Canva and I think it is a very simple app that students can use to make quick graphics over s given topic. They don't have to include a lot of detail but do enough to get their point across on the diagram.

Details of Meme

After attending the Meme workshop hosted by Mrs. Beck, I decided to create a Meme in order to tell my future students the consequences of plagiarism in my classroom. The Meme shows a student sturggling with how to tell his or her parents that he or she is failing the class after plagiarizing.
To create this Meme I used the app called "Mematic" that Mrs. Beck showed us in the workshop.

Plagiarism

I used the canva app. I incorporated a saying that I used in elementary school to my poster. This poster is for second grade!
