Micro-Credentialing and SIM
I love the idea of having a way to provide evidence for the skills that a teacher or professional developer can provide to show what areas that they are experts in.

I think this will be a good way to show our district that teachers are using SIM with fidelity and the value of it for our students.

Earning Badges
Ever since I was a young girl I was motivated to earn badges in Girl Scouts and Acteens. As a PD provider, this will provide administrators with evidence that I have completed the rigorous requirements of SIM CER.

Evidence based credentials show evidence of accomplishments.
I like the evidence based credentials. This helps me to show some of the PD that I've learned, but so much more than a certificate.

I think this is going to be a very helpful networking tool.
I love the way that it will allow me to directly contact someone (hopefully near me) that will be able to help/guide me with a specific strategy. I also like that it will open up collaboration avenues.

Micro-credentialing is a motivator for me. I like being able to monitor my progress; the challenge is to find meaningful learning tasks.
