4. Use the LINCS Table Routinely

While I don't have opportunities to use this routine with a class of students, I could use this in other settings or with other groups.

*I could use this routine in trainings and professional development as we are learning new terms and vocabulary words on a particular topic. This would be a great way for the audience to make a connection with the content.

*I could use/model this routine with IU/PaTTAN consultants working with our P2G sites.

*As other opportunities arise, I may also be able to use this in meetings with faculty and staff as we are learning new terms with various and projects that we are using with the state.

While I don't work with students, I have found ways to work around this by using the LINCS tables and routine with my own second- and fifth-grader at home. It has been a great strategy to introduce because they both encounter words that are unfamiliar to them through reading and vocabulary homework. Additionally, I have been able to use the routine myself as I learn new terms through my professional development trainings.
