My seventh graders have been working on writing skills. Before Spring Break I used a collection of videos over two days to help student understand relating to and critiquing the book they were reading. The videos covered things like point of view and theme. The examples in the videos were spot on for what I was looking for students to do in their book critique.
This week, we are going back over essays. I found a collection of short videos that go over essays and what they need to include. The videos do a good job of breaking down the essay parts and explaining what is needed.
The videos are short and easy to include in a lesson. They are full of good information and allow the students to learn from someone other than me 😀! I will definitely be using more videos in the future. I found some on Grammer and editing I can't wait to use
