In this lesson, students are challenged to focus on their feelings while on the internet. On top of this, students are encouraged to know the signals of when it is time to take a break.

In this lesson, upper elementary students dive into the first admendment and what this looks like online.

1.  A PowerPoint to introduce the idea of digital citizenship.
2.  Another PowerPoint to make students as if they are being a good digital citizen.
3.  An activity that promotes student engagement.  Students must give a short answer to the questions.
4.  Reminders for the basics of good digital citizenship.
5.  A last digital citizenship PowerPoint using BrainPOP.
6.  A class activity asking students to give answers to questions on digital citizenship as groups.

I found these resources for my students and myself to use to become better digital citizens. There are three different presentations that allow students and teachers to gain more information on Digital Citizenship, especially how one can be safe and protect themselves and others. There are two interactive response programs, one is a document and one is a padlet, The Padlet takes a more interactive dive into the safety measures we should all take to become more responsible. Finally there is a PDF that should be used for the teachers, due to wording and interest. Students could always use this PDF as an informative guide, but this would best suit a teacher.
