This standard is so important.  Students need to be hands-on with their learning.  They will remember more and have a richer learning experience.  In one of my sessions, I had an opportunity to create something and then share with a partner.  I learned more because I was actively engaged.  This year, I am incorporating more making activities as ways for students to share their learning and am already seeing a big increase in the level of student engagement.

Planbook.com

I told a few librarians how I use planbook.com to plan and said And they have the new standards listed right there. You just have to make sure and select them!

Loved the non-fiction picks by this committee! Great job tying everything into the #aaslstandards @cjzervos… https://t.co/3PmcDCKunk

I learned that there are four domains: think, create, share and grow.
