This article talks about Job-Embedded Professional Development and the benefits for teachers. Obviously, any professional development that occurs during the school day, with colleagues and real-time feedback is the most beneficial. SIM a model program for JEPD. With our implementation of SIM, teachers will be working together during the day in PLC's, they will receive coaching from our SIM Professional Developers during the day, they have the opportunity to get real-time data and feedback through Hoxie as well as posting and reviewing videos of others implementing SIM. SIM is also supported by state leaders, district leadership and school leadership which is essential for JEPD to be successful.
