Clarifying Strategy on Monday Afternoon

I loved the Clarifying Strategy that was presented on Monday afternoon.
I chose the for ASOL HS-H 6 (SOL 2.2)The student will compare the lives and contributions of three American Indian cultures of the  past and present, with emphasis on the Powhatan of the Eastern Woodlands, the Lakota of the Plains, and the Pueblo peoples of the Southwest and HS-G 3 (SOL 2.4) The student will develop map skills by c) locating the regions of the Powhatan, Lakota, and Pueblo Indians on United States maps.
1.  Term: tribes 
2.  Clarifiers:  Native Americans, Indians, culture, Plains, Eastern Woodlands, Southwest, groups of people
3.  Core Idea: Native Americans lived in places in groups throughout the United States.
4.  Knowledge connections:  People live in many places.  I live in Virginia with my family.
5.  Example of...Powhatan, Lakota, Pueblo
6.  Not an example...settlers, explorers, pioneers
7.  Example sentence:  Native Americans lived in the Eastern Woodlands, Southwest, and on the Plains.
