Teach Word Mapping

I taught the Word Mapping Strategy during my LETRS Module 4 Vocabulary Training.  It fit so beautifully into the chapter on morphology.  The participants really found the strategy to be very helpful.  One participant, a professor at our local private college, thought this would be helpful to model with her students! 

I had the opportunity to refine my skills with another group!  All three found both the Word Mapping Strategy as well as the Memory Table to be very helpful in learning and remembering new vocabulary words.  Great discussion and conversation occurred and the consensus was that they all wished this strategy had been taught to them when they were in school!
