Kaleidoscope SIM Overview

Greg Moore's session gave me an idea of how to implement SIM more effectively with my coop's science teachers.

Watson Chapel's session was effective to see how teachers are implementing SIM with coteaching.
One teacher said he is working on how SIM will support AR Math Quest.

Xtreme Reading is more of a curriculum than teaching strategies in individual content areas.

Eldorado's added a visual for how SIM can support PLCs (a state focus).  It would be nice to have her PowerPoint.

The Intersection of SIM and High Leverage Practices.

I appreciate the effort to weave SIM into our state-level focus for High Leverage Practices.  This helps us support the work already in place instead of adding on one more thing.

Intersections between Knight's and Washburn's work

Thank you to Jim Knight and Jocelyn Washburn for generously sharing new ideas from their books.  I look forward to working with teachers to identify and decompose high leverage practices and create an instructional playbook to share.  Great ideas worth implementing!
