I use LINCS frequently as part of my Seventh Grade English course.

I teach advanced students (Pre-AP), general education students, and students with disabilities (co-taught collaborative classes with a Learning Support teacher). Class sizes range from 18-23 students of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. In Pre-AP, students have a wide vocabulary, so coming up with reminding words is often exciting and surprising. These students enjoy learning new words and tend to have a lot of fun with LINCS. The students in my collaborative classes often struggle with new concepts and vocabulary, so we use LINCS to prime students for new learning or for review/remediation.

The following is a sample of my implementation of LINCS this school year in the three units we have covered so far.
