1.) Finding someone you trust that knows about technology: If you know someone that knows and understands technology and they are an adult you trust, you can go to them with any issues you may have. This allows for you to be protected and understand that if something like these events happen they will help protect you and keep you safe.

This site can help educators and parents teach their children about what it means to be a digital citizen. This site is a very breif run down on what students can use technology for and how to be safe when using technology.

This site gives insight as to what digital citizenship is. It explains what it is and how it can be used positively and negatively. This site allows for students to understand why digital citizenship is a conversation that needs to happen.

This site gives advice to teachers and parents about what to include when teaching children digital citizenship. This site allows for students to get the best education on the topic to be able to understand why it is a big deal.

This video is a good resource to communicate with students. This video can be used to bring up the idea behind digital citizenship as well as conclude the lesson. It gives good advice and good explanations as to what digital citizenship entails.

This website breaks down the roles between a teacher, parent, or student. This site can be helpful in figuring out where to start to see if a child understands what is being discussed.
