I learned that we as future teachers must be on top of our technology game.

I attended the Innovation Hub at the library, the place was small, but there was a lot of worked displayed in the room. When I went, there was no one else, though I kind of went at a bad time because there was loud construction going on next door. But I still managed to understand what Patrick, the worker was telling me. There was a lot of cool 3D things already made; these were on the shelves and table. When I was there, Patrick helped me create a green lion keychain. It took a total of two hours, I could have been less, but that printer decided to stop working for a bit.

I learned that we as future educators must be on our top game when it comes to technology in the classroom. Because no teacher wants to constantly say to their peers or students, "how do I use that?"I also learned that technology is there for us to be better educators.
The shop was relevant to my future teaching because I could assign an assignment where students create a 3D object and write about it. For one, they will explore different types of technology, while having fun and write about their experience since they will be in a language arts class. I could also create lessons in where students are asked to incorporate a piece made by themselves and tie it to their papers and English projects; it would not have to be 3D work, it could be a wood piece, like the piece Patrick was working on when I was there. I enjoyed the Innovation Hub; I will be going back before May. The great thing about it all was that it was free!
