3D printing

I attended an innovation workshop that taught me about the 3D printing @ the edge. I had no idea this place existed, and that so much was available to me for free as a student! 3D printing is amazing, there is so much you can do with it. In the classroom, as a teacher, I could create a 3D model of an anatomical part, or show the students a bust of William Shakespeare. I could pass around a model of the Parthenon with exquisite detail, or even create spare parts and pieces for technical use in the classroom! I am definitely going to be taking advantage of this as a student here, using it to create projects for classes, or pieces for my board games, or even decor for my house, like the candle holder I have cued at the printer right now.
