Users can access help in a number of ways both within and without college opening hours

Within opening hours: physically visiting the library team and asking, using the ask a librarian feature on the library page of Moodle, phoning library services.

Outside of opening hours: leaving a message via e-mail, phone or ask a librarian and consulting the help section within Moodle.

Help with Moodle is available through Moodle administrators in the library office, course teachers, or through the Moodle 'Help' tab.

During a normal college day, Moodle users can get help with Moodle issues by contacting the library in person or getting in touch by phone, email or Facebook. Help is possible at the Library desk or in the Library office where Moodle administrators can assist if the query is more in-depth.
If the Moodle course has been set up with an extra ‘password’, the user may not always have this information and will get the ‘password’ details from the course tutor or a Moodle administrator.
Users can access the Moodle FAQs, within the Moodle ‘Help’ tab, and hopefully get an answer to their query.

Out of college working hours, Moodle is accessible through the Bath College Website via the ‘staff and student links’, or by using this link: https://moodle.citybathcoll.ac.uk/

Within Moodle there is a 'Help' tab. From here, users can access the Moodle FAQs. Users can use the ‘Help’ tab without having to log in to Moodle. If the user’s question if not answered through the FAQs, it is advisable to email library@bathcollege.ac.uk and wait for a response within college working hours.

Help can be found either through the Library or via Moodle's help Tab

During the college day, Moodle users can contact the library by visiting in person or by contacting us by phone/email/facebook/etc and asking for help. This may be possible at the Library desk, in the case of directing people in how to find resources or navigate to particular pages, or may need to be passed on to the Library office, in the case of users not being enrolled to courses or more esoteric issues with logging in or missing elements.  Moodle also has its own 'Help' tab, accessible at all times so long as Moodle itself is working. From here users can access FAQs about Moodle itself as well as systems such as ProPortal and the Microsoft 365 suit. These do not generally require the user to be logged in and so should be available even if they are struggling to log into Moodle or are having other related problems.
