Inquiry and Making

I attended a session in which the team of presenters shared their experiences connecting inquiry with making.  They shared lots of examples of student projects as well as the process used to develop a unit of study incorporating inquiry and research with making to share learning.  I came away with lots of useful ideas as this is the direction I'm moving in with my own instruction.  I just launched my makerspace this school year.

OER ethics

OERs do not require attribution; ethics do. Just because we’re not required to give attribution doesn’t mean we shouldn’t.

Graphic Novels

Reminding teachers that they are a format, and they are a format that levels the playing field for many of our students with a variety of learning needs.

Libraries are not neutral spaces. Standing up to racism is not political, it’s ethics.
