The Stakeholders

The stakeholders for my position (I am currently a Year 2 English Course Rep) are second year students who are studying an English discipline at the University, this includes joint honours English students and students who take a minor in English as well as full honours English students. My role is to make myself known to these people, as I have via facebook group, and to ensure that I am able to voice their views and concerns in the SSLCs, as well as inform them of what happened at these SSLCs and what action will be taken to improve student experience based off their views.

i'm proud to represeent views of my fellow students!

As a MSc Allergy cource reps Megan and I organised a whats up group where all students of the cource shared their thoughts on how to improve the cource. This information was discussed at Postgraduate Staff Student Liason Committee as well as MSc Allergy Faculty meetings to ensure that their vocies are heard and enhance academic experience for current/future students . Apart from that, Megan and I organised a lot of extra-currucular activies such as bowling, dinners, the best christmas jumper compettion etc. This was a great way to get together, get to know each other better, discuss the cource in informal atmosthere.

I created the facebook group for our course where students could exchange their ideas and share information and stuff, I managed to get around 70% of the programme on this group

As a course representative, my stakeholders are university colleagues who are on the same programme, and lecturers for the programme.

My stakeholders are university colleagues who are on the same programme. They expect me to have their feedback and reflect their feedback to the school. They also need me to organise events to enable each student to know each other.

Lecturers for the programme are also my stakeholders. They expect me to reflect students' feedback so the module would be improved according to the feedback.
