As this was my first update conference, I chose to evaluate the entire SE Conference experience in Charleston, Feb 2018. The conference was amazing! I was welcomed to the group as a "Northerner" with open arms! My network of professional support has increased significantly since attending this conference, and I will be back in 2 years. The presenters were engaging and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the activities and gained ideas for my own work with teachers. Many of the handouts I have used already. Becoming familiar with navigating SIMville was also so helpful. The Narrative Theme Writing strategy training was a definite highlight, and I feel ready to use this strategy with students and teachers. In summary, simply excellent!
