Mrs. Schoonover ... forever learning

The last few weeks have been so busy with testing, S.T.E.A.M. challenges, hands on learning, and No Worksheet Week. My students have amazed me with their perseverance and creativity. Following are two projects that I'd like to share. S.T.E.A.M. Boat Challenge (Thank you to Tracy Campbell for sharing this great idea with me!)

What's New With Knela?

As a teacher, I never quite knew how to tackle the concept of #noworksheetweek. I seriously thought it meant to cut-out the use of paper for an entire week. Even though my classroom was iPad-based, I couldn't fathom the idea of not using pre-made right/wrong answer type of work during the week.

During our #NoWorksheetWeek Twitter chat last week I was inspired by all of the energy and innovation of the teachers who participated. I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see the learning that takes place in the classrooms of these teachers May 2-6.
