Reflection relating to chosen Evidence of Implementation

General Directions:

Complete the reflection requirements below based on the option you chose for the “Evidence of Implementation” section of the module 2 micro-credentialing. When uploading reflections, please include your option number in the file name. For example, if you are completing option 2, name your "option 2 reflection".

Option 1: Theory into Practice

Please provide your reflection on what you have learned from identifying and implementing this self-management strategy or activity with students. Based on this module and self-management implementation experience, please include the following in your reflection:
  • What went well with your implementation?
  • What would you change for the next time this strategy/activity were implemented?
  • What advice would you give to someone else who is interested in implementing a new self-management strategy/activity with students?
  • After experiencing the module 2 training, what will you start doing in your day-to-day classroom/school practices relating to self-management?
  • What self-management practices were you already doing that you plan to do more of?
  • What will you stop doing?

Option 2: Sharing Practices

Please provide a reflection which includes:
  • What went well and what you would change about the last time you implemented this shared practice?
  • What advice would you give to someone else who is interested in implementing this self-management practice with students?
  • After experiencing the module 2 training, what will you start doing in your day-to-day classroom/school practices relating to self-management?
  • What self-management practices were you already doing that you plan to do more of?
  • What will you stop doing?

Option 3: Research & Advocacy Proposal

Briefly describe when you proposed your chosen self-management program/practice. Make sure to include the decisions made and overall outcome of this proposal. In addition, please reflect on the following:
  • What went well and what you would change about the way your proposal was presented?
  • Based on the outcome of your proposal meeting, what is your next step to improve students’ self-management?
  • If your proposal was not accepted/supported, how could you change your proposal idea or change your approach to advocate for self-management practices?
  • What have you learned from this proposal experience?
  • After experiencing the module 2 training, what will you start doing in your day-to-day classroom/school practices relating to self-management?
  • What self-management practices were you already doing that you plan to do more of?
  • What will you stop doing?
