Circles on paper and have students go for it.

What can you do with a scrap of butcher paper? Draw circles of various sizes randomly and then leave on table. Set markers, colored pencils and crayons. Fill a few circles yourself for examples. Encourage students and staff to fill in their own circles. It's okay to color outside the lines. Enjoy!

Retired

I am now retired and unfortunately spent the last years of my career outside of the library, on the physical education fields. Some of my favorite lessons, however, were the ones where students took what they learned in my class and from others and created something from that knowledge that was there own.
