Sharing knowledge

I'm so glad that Katie McNamara and Dave from Mackin kinda gave me that push to be the Graphic Novel librarian and share my knowledge with other people.  Even though I didn't volunteer to help at registration or other things CSLA needed to run this conference, I feel that speaking counts as volunteering.

And also, I tried to help set up for CYRM and they were DONE in 20 min!  They were done before I got down there after the call for help was made!

The fire station

I had no idea how much work goes on behind the scenes until I worked the registration desk!  Lost and found, new workshops, meal changes, lost tickets, directions, oh, and registration.

So glad Heather G. Signed me up!

So glad to be able to get people registered ® and helping people find their session. It makes me happy to be able to help my peers.

Volunteer

I absolutely loved my volunteer experience at the registration counter. I was able to see so many librarians and work with wonderful people.

Volunteering has been...

Volunteering for CSLA activities has been the best way for me to engage with my professional organization. I've met so many incredible, wonderful and fabulous school library community members from across California! Get involved it will change your life.
