Reflection of helping

One of my very first volunteer efforts with CSLA was facilitating sessions. I got to facilitate for Nancy Pearl, when I was just a newbie. It's a wonderful way to help out in such an easy way, while guaranteeing myself a spot in a crowded sessino, and getting to introduce myself to and get to know a presenter. I already knew Blanche, but I think facilitating for her added a new layer to our professional relationship and friendship. A win-win all around!

I loved being able to facilitate the workshop for Rebecca Webb. This is my first CSLA conference and I felt honored to play an important role at the STEAM Kits K-12 workshop. Thank you to Anne Mangels for giving me the opportunity to be involved.

Until you volunteer, you do not realize how much work goes in to making the conference successful!

Loved hearing everyone's plan how they would help teachers incorporate pleasure reading and make it fun for students!!!
