Great energy and ideas at the Unconference!

There was lots of energy and enthusiasm at the Unconference. We had lively breakout sessions, with the topic of evaluating credibility of government sources in the current climate being so popular that we had two groups. We had a number of excellent ideas shared during the Smackdown, and everyone who managed to stay up through to the end enjoyed the trivia contest. All the resources are at bit.ly/cslauncon.

Unconference brings little key minded people together!

It is clearly a concern among librarians that we can no longer rely on our government to supply accurate facts on their website. Official government statements were likened to the government of South Korea. Website archives like way back machine are good sources to track the shift in policies.

Great convos

The conversations in our breakout sessions were really valuable and I'm intrigued by the ideas that came out of the .gov groups. The library quiz was a lot of fun and a great way to end the day!
